Day 01, Arrive Delhi
Late evening. Meeting, greeting & assistance on arrival at the international airport and transfer to the hotel.
Day 02, Delhi
Morning enjoy the sightseeing tour of Old Delhi visiting Rajghat (Gandhi Memorial), Jamma Masjid (Mosque) & enjoy a Rickshaw ride through the narrow lanes and drive past Red Fort. Sightseeing tour of New Delhi visitng Qutab Minar (Tower of Victory), Humayun’s Tomb, India Gate & the Governement buildings.
Day 03, Delhi - Varanasi
Fly to Varanasi. On arrival visit Sarnath, where Lord Buddha preached his first sermon to five disciples. Evening witness Aarti (light) Ceremony on the bank of Ganges.
Day 04, Varanasi
Early morning enjoy boat ride at River Ganges. Morning sightseeing tour of the city visiting temples and Banaras Hindu University, a great seat of
Oriental learning.
Day 05, Varanasi - Khajuraho
Fly to Khajuraho. Later visit Western
Group of Temples. Evening witness Son-et-Lumière (Sound & Light Show) - spectacle evokes the life and times of the great Chandela Kings and traces the story of the unique temples from the 10th Century to the present day.
Day 06, Khajuraho - Orchha
Morning visit Eastern Group of Temples. Drive to Orchha
Day 07, Orchha - Jhansi - Agra
Visit Orchha Fort complex, visiting Jehangir Mahal and Raj Mahal. Drive to Jhansi. Arrive & board Express train to Agra.
Day 08, Agra
Early morning visit Taj Mahal (Closed on Monday), monument of love Later, visit Agra Fort & Itmad-Ud-Daula’s, tomb of Chief Minister of Emperor Jehangir. Afternoon at leisure for
SPA’S and shopping.
Day 09, Agra - Jaipur
Drive to Jaipur en-route visiting Fatehpur Sikri, desert capital of Mughal
King Akbar.
Day 10, Jaipur
Enjoy the visit to Amber Fort (you ascent on Elephant & descent by jeep) Later, visit City Palace, Observatory & Hawa Mahal (Palace on Wind.)
Day 11, Jaipur
Day at leisure for SPA’S and shopping.
Day 12, Jaipur - Udaipur
Fly to Udaipur. On arrival proceed for sightseeing visiting City Palace,
Sahelion ki Baori, a retreat of ladies of royal household to spend their time at leisure, & Jagdish Temple. Afternoon at leisure for SPA’S and shopping
Day 13, Udaipur
Day excursion to Rankapur to visit famous Jain Temples. Enjoy sunset
cruise at Lake Pichola.
Day 14, Udaipur - Mumbai - Aurangabad
Fly to Mumbai. Arrive and transfer to hotel where room will be provided till departure. Fly to Aurangabad.
Day 15, Aurangabad
Enjoy day excursion to Ajanta Caves
(Closed on Monday) - the first Buddhist cave monuments. The paintings and sculptures of Ajanta, considered masterpieces of Buddhist religious art, have had a considerable artistic influence.
Day 16, Aurangabad
Sightseeing tour of Ellora Caves (Closed on Tuesday) - cluster of monasteries devoted to Buddhism.Later proceed for the sightseeing tour of Aurangabad city visiting Bibi Ka Maqbara – also known as Mini Taj, a son’s tribute to his mother, the Queen of Mujghal Emperor Aurangazeb. Also visit Panchaki (Water Mill), an engineering feat of the time built by Malik Ambar in 1695.
Day 17, Aurangabad - Mumbai
Fly to Mumbai. Morning visit Gateway of India, Prince of Wales Museum (closed on Monday) & Mani Bhawan (Gandhi Museum) and Dhobhi Ghat
(world largest outdoor laundry).
Day 18, Mumbai
Morning visit Elephanta Caves, a world heritage site. Later visit Gateway of India. Rest of the afternoon at leisure
for shopping.
Day 19, Depart Mumbai
Fly back home with unforgettable memories of India.
